Concert: Bob Log III

Who is Bob Log III you ask. Ha. Well this story takes me to 2006 (we think, it may have been 2007) to the Rhythm Room on New Years Day. Cody’s sister Kameron had just seen Bob Log III at Plush in Tucson and insisted we go to the show. There were about 75 people there. Bob Log II doesn’t show is face (see photos below), wears a jumpsuit, fighter pilot helmet with a phone receiver as a mic.

He plays the slide guitar, uses a kickdrum and a drum machine. He is a one-band act. He also always has young ladies on stage with him. This part of the show is wickedly intriguing to me. Who are these gals? Back in mid-2000 he had a gal dressed up like a chicken and one dressed like an ape. Cut to 2012 he has moved up in life. His show was at Crescent Ballroom pushing 300 hipsters with cool hats, facial hair all who were likely younger than 26.

It was a great night. We met some new friends. Had a few celebration cocktails and got a few good laughs out of our favorite one man show. i highly recommend checking Bob Log III out next time he is in town. Great show full of amazing people watching and the music is also pretty cool. The man behind the mask and the gals on the stage, they are the mystery.
